DAYTOUR GUIDELINES

    We want every guest to enjoy a safe and pleasant journey. Please take note of the following guidelines:

1. Conduct & Behavior

     Tours by Jano reserves the right to end the tour immediately if there is any bad behavior or disrespect towards our staff.

     Courtesy and cooperation are expected at all times to ensure a smooth experience.

2. Driver & Guide Services

     Our drivers are basic guides only and can provide general assistance.

      If you wish to have a professional licensed tour guide, this can be arranged for ¥30,000 (10 hours), with an overtime fee of ¥5,000 per                        additional hour (subject to availability).

3. Vehicle Use

     The vehicle is company property. Please treat it with care.

     Some of our drivers may not be able to operate the Bluetooth function of the car.

4. Guest Belongings

     Our staff cannot carry or manage personal belongings such as bags, shopping bags, or umbrellas during the tour. Guests are responsible for       their own items.

5. Cleanliness & Fees

      Guests are expected to maintain cleanliness inside the vehicle.

     In cases where extra cleaning is required due to negligence, a cleaning fee of ¥50,000 will be charged.

• Kobe Harborland – Shopping, dining, and entertainment area with night views of the harbor.

• Meriken Park – Seaside park with Kobe Port Tower, Kobe Maritime Museum, and the Earthquake Memorial.

• Kobe Port Tower – Iconic red tower with observation decks overlooking the city and bay.

• Mosaic Ferris Wheel – Colorful Ferris wheel with panoramic harbor views.

Nature & Scenic Spots

• Mount Rokko (Rokko-san) – Scenic mountain with observation decks, gardens, and the Rokko Cable Car.

• Nunobiki Herb Gardens & Ropeway – Ride a cable car up the mountain to herb gardens with seasonal flowers and city views.

• Akashi Kaikyō Bridge (nearby) – World’s longest suspension bridge, connecting Kobe to Awaji Island.

Cultural & Historical Areas

• Kitano Ijinkan District – Historical foreign residences from Kobe’s international port days.

• Nankinmachi (Kobe Chinatown) – Vibrant Chinese quarter filled with shops and street food.

• Ikuta Shrine – One of Japan’s oldest Shinto shrines, right in the heart of Kobe.

Relaxation

• Arima Onsen – One of Japan’s most famous hot spring towns, located in the mountains just outside Kobe.

 Food Experience

• Kobe Beef Dining – World-renowned wagyu beef prepared teppanyaki-style at local restaurants.

• Sake Breweries in Nada District – Tour and taste sake in one of Japan’s top brewing areas.

Tour Highlights (Typical 8–10 Hours)

• Morning: Mount Rokko + Nunobiki Herb Gardens Ropeway

• Lunch: Kobe Beef or Chinatown food trip

• Afternoon: Kitano Ijinkan & Ikuta Shrine

• Evening: Harborland & Meriken Park for night views
